As the COVID-19 vaccine continues to roll out into communities across the country, different groups will become eligible to register for and receive the vaccine. Changes in vaccine eligibility continue to change. Most states have not veered far from the guidelines created by the CDC on the prioritization of the vaccine, but there are some differences from state-to-state, including those states that are a part of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter.
The CDC has included News Media as Essential Workers in Phase 1c for the vaccine distribution. The CDC defines the News Media in the following ways:
